Appointment Scheduling

All services at Niche Micro Locs Studio are by appointment only. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and are reserved intentionally.

  • A 48-hour notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
  • Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a $25 rescheduling fee.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment will result in a $50 cancellation fee.
  • A 15-minute grace period is observed. Arrivals beyond this window may result in a shortened service, rescheduling, or cancellation at the studio’s discretion.

Missed appointments or repeated late cancellations may result in restricted booking access.

Consultations

All new clients are required to complete a consultation prior to booking an installation service.

  • Consultations include a scalp and hair assessment, discussion of goals, and service recommendations.
  • A non-refundable consultation fee is required at the time of booking.
  • Consultation fees do not apply toward installation pricing unless explicitly stated.

Hair Preparation

For consultations and installations, clients are responsible for arriving with hair properly prepared for their scheduled service.

Hair must be clean, freshly washed, product-free, fully detangled, worn in its natural state, and free of braids, extensions, or protective styles.

Failure to meet preparation requirements may result in additional fees, service modification, or rescheduling.

Retightening Schedule

Clients are expected to maintain agreed upon maintenance schedule.

Delayed or missed retightening appointments will incur an additional maintenance fee. Corrective work may be required depending on the condition of the locs at the time of service.

Maintenance & Aftercare

Clients must follow all aftercare instructions provided by Niche Micro Locs Studio.

  • Hair should remain dry for at least 48 hours following installation or retightening.
  • Improper product use or excessive manipulation may compromise loc integrity.
  • Niche Micro Locs Studio is not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow aftercare guidance.

Payments & Deposits

Payment is due in full at the time of service unless otherwise stated.

Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, Zelle, and Cash App.

All credit card payments are subject to a processing fee, which is added to the total at checkout. Processing rates may vary.

All services over $300 require a $150 deposit, which is applied to the total cost to secure the appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and transferable with proper notice.

Photography & Videography

Niche documents services through photography and video for quality control, education, and marketing purposes. Identifying features are not shared without client consent.

Clients who wish to opt out must notify Niche in writing prior to their appointment. Requests made after services have begun may not be accommodated.

Content may be used across digital platforms unless otherwise requested in writing.

Right to Refuse Service

Niche Micro Locs Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client who does not adhere to studio policies, preparation standards, or professional conduct expectations.
